Night Sky Watching | 26.09.2020

Since ancient times people were fascinated by the night skies and the beauty of a starlit canopy. This special workshop is dedicated to all Photographers / Adventurers who want to dive deeper into the subject ‘night time photography’.

We cover all relevant aspects in detail - Like long exposure techniques, camera stabilisation, type of lenses to be used, postproduction techniques and more.

After a relaxed welcome drink around 20:00 we go for a short 15 minute walk up to our ‘secret location’ where we are far enough away from the (small) city of Blaubeuren in order to have a really dark sky - a must if you want to see thousands of stars of different brightness levels. Those magic shots are guaranteed to end up on your memory card. We stay as long as we want to - so be prepared for a long night!

IMPORTANT: Please take appropriate shoes and clothes with you, as well as a tripod for your camera, enough memory cards and spare batteries as well as a flashlight and whatever else you consider for a ‘trip in Nature’.

In case of unforeseeable, terrible weather conditions, we might have to cancel / reschedule the event.

We will have a selected set of cameras and lenses with us. But please feel free to contact us well in Advance in case you want to try out something ‘special’. We will see what we can do.
